Pic-a-Day Challenge; Day 19

I had a specific photo in mind, for today's pic-a-day challenge photo. In order to execute this photo I had planned, it had to be completely dark, outside. So, as I waited for night to fall, I happened to glance Westward. To my amazement, the clouds that were hanging in the sky all day were beginning to part - right at sunset! The parting clouds reflected the beauty of the sunset, creating the illusion that the sky was set ablaze. I will put my original photographic plan on hold for a later day. For today's photograph, I give you this:

Autumn Beauty

The other morning greeted me with an incredible view. It was a foggy morning, with the sun breaking through the mist. This photo was taken at the edge of a wooded area, near where I live. The wisps of fog made for a very photogenic scene. The photo was processed using a high pass filter, to give it a silver appearance. Enjoy!
